is a singer/songwriter from nashville, tn who began her musical career when she was in the children’s choir at her childhood church, Greater Harvest Church of God In Christ in Memphis, TN, formerly under the leadership of Bishop Lee Ward. As a teenager, Lotonia began taking piano lessons which allowed her to compose music to some of her Praise and Worship songs, not yet recorded.

As the years continued, Lotonia started singing with her sisters and cousins in a group formed by her oldest brother, Ben. When she left for college, she found herself traveling and singing and assisting others in the studio and church more and more. Whether it’s through leading praise and worship or singing background, she brings glory and honor to God.

Lotonia has used her God-given voice for years to bless the hearts of many. She comes not with a competitive edge but with the anointing to confront the hurt, pain, doubt, and fear that challenge so many in the church and in society. Lotonia has been given a special mantle that empowers her to bring encouragement and victory to the lives of many who listen to her anointed voice.

Her primary purpose for this healing album, Showers of Rain, is that yokes be destroyed,chains broken, bodies healed, souls delivered, and a garment of praise be manifested. Lotonia Adams-Askew is the wife of Pastor Terrie Askew Sr. of Perfecting Holiness Church and the mother of four children who continues to encourage her to move forward in her ministry.
